AmeriCorps*VISTA & Senior Corps
Heather Wiley AmeriCorps*VISTA projects in Nebraska AmeriCorps*VISTAs commit to serve full-time for a year at a nonprofit organization or local government agency, working to fight illiteracy, improve health services, create businesses, strengthen community groups, and much more. With passion, commitment, and hard work, VISTAs create or expand programs designed to bring individuals and communities out of poverty. Senior Corps Projects in Nebraska Senior Corps connects today’s over 55s with the people and organizations that need them most. We help them become mentors, coaches or companions to people in need, or contribute their job skills and expertise to community projects and organizations. Senior Corps offers several ways to get involved including Foster Grandparents, Senior Companions, and RSVP. |

Learn & Serve America
Kindergarten - Grade 12 Mike Kissler K-12 Learn & Serve Projects in Nebraska Learn and Serve America supports and encourages service-learning throughout the United States, and enables students to make meaningful contributions to their community while building their academic and civic skills. By engaging our nation’s young people in service-learning, Learn and Serve America instills an ethic of lifelong community service.
