Impact Awards
Recognizing Exceptional Community Service
Honoring individuals and groups that go above-and-beyond in addressing the needs of their communities and bettering the quality of life for their fellow Nebraskans, the Impact Awards are being initiated in 2008.
Awards are being issued in the following categories:
- Outstanding Volunteer Group of the Year
- Outstanding Volunteer of the Year
- Nebraska "Hero" Award
- National Service Award
The Impact Awards will also encompass the Debra Hartmann Award, named in honor of the Commission's late Executive Director who embodied passion, compassion and service throughout her career and life. The award issued in her honor will celebrate the achievements of an outstanding professional who has improved their community or state through their paid efforts.
